FAHM FESTIVAL
You are invited to the Tobera Project’s 3rd annual Filipino American History Month festival on the Watsonville city plaza on Saturday October 12th from 12-5pm.
Enjoy delicious Filipino cuisine from local food vendors and purchase vibrant custom art and creations from a handful of Filipino crafters and artisans.
This year’s headlining performer will be the Manilatown Anecdotal Ensemble who will delight the crowd with traditional kulintang music of the Southern Philippines. They will transition into a world-class jazz band as well. Their performance starts at 12:30pm.
Following Manilatown at 2:30pm we will feature a suite of performances from Bayanihan, a student group from UCSC who dazzle the crowd with Acapella singing, hip-hop dance and tinikling, the exciting cultural dance of the Philippines.
Please make plans to join us for this family-friendly and free community event!
